The WEC will once again compete across eight rounds internationally, with the only exception being a change of venue for the American round. Whereas the 2012 season kicked off with the Sebring 12hrs, the series will instead journey to Austin in 2013 following the Circuit of the Americas’ first Formula One race this month.

Silverstone will host the opening 6hrs endurance event of the 2013 season on 14 April before the WEC circus moves to Spa-Francorchamps for round two. Just over one month later, the teams will travel to France for the 91st running of the Le Mans 24hrs.
